Her en kjapp gjennomgang:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.vinylknut.com\/pix\/recog.gif\" width=\"14\" height=\"14\" border=\"0\" \/> 4 stjerner til <strong>Arthur Brown&#8217;s Kingdom Come<\/strong>: <em>Eternal Messenger; An Anthology 1970-1973<\/em>, en 5xCD boks fra Esoteric com samler albumene <em>Galactic Zoo Dossier<\/em> (1971), <em>Kingdom Come<\/em> (1972) og <em>Journey<\/em> (1973) og plusser p\u00e5 med diverse bonusmateriale og hefte: &laquo;The albums are joined in this magnificent box set by formative jam recordings, alternate versions and BBC radio sessions &#8230; best of all, Kingdom Come&#8217;s visionary leader is still here to talk about them in the booklet.&raquo;<\/li>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.vinylknut.com\/pix\/recog.gif\" width=\"14\" height=\"14\" border=\"0\" \/>; En dobbel 5-stjerner til svenske Regain Records for deres nyutgivelser (ogs\u00e5 p\u00e5 vinyl) av kanadiske <strong>Neil Merryweather<\/strong> sine to album <em>Space Rangers<\/em> (1974) og <em>Kryptonite<\/em> (1975). Melodisk powerrock med lettere prog\/psych elementer, begge f\u00e5r s\u00e5pass mye skryt her at de b\u00f8r sjekkes ut n\u00e6rmere: &laquo;<em>Space Ranger<\/em> is a hoot from beginning to end. Some of the tracks could have been penned by Ziggy Stardust &#8230; The songs are tights, the feel is funky and the guitar effects are thoroguhly cosmic &#8230; <em>Kryptonite<\/em> is arguably even more fabulous. Sadly we can&#8217;t award anyting six stars.&raquo;<\/li>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.vinylknut.com\/pix\/recog.gif\" width=\"14\" height=\"14\" border=\"0\" \/> 4 stjerner til 3xCD samleren <strong><em>Beyond The Pale Horizon: The British Progressive Pop Sounds Of 1972<\/em><\/strong>, fra Grapefruit. Mye kjent her, men vanskelig \u00e5 ikke like denne, med artister som Van der Graaf Generator, Roxy Music, The Strawbs, Family, Free, Thin Lizzy, ELO, Yes, Caravan, og s\u00e5 videre: &laquo;The usual delicious obscurities, rarities and detailed annotation combine to form another thoughtfully compiled winner.&raquo;<\/li>\n<li>4 stjerner til nytt album fra <strong>Peter Hamill<\/strong>, <em>In Translation<\/em>, som er f\u00f8rste gang han begir seg inn p\u00e5 coverl\u00e5ter over et helt album: &laquo;It&#8217;s almost as if <em>In Translation<\/em> has tied up all the strange, raw emotions of the past year and made som sense of them.&raquo; Forel\u00f8pig bare ute p\u00e5 CD, men albumet kommer visstnok p\u00e5 vinyl senere.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nytt nummer av Record Collector, og som alltid ender jeg med en liten sjekkliste.
