Her en kjapp gjennomgang:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.vinylknut.com\/pix\/recog.gif\" width=\"14\" height=\"14\" border=\"0\" \/> <em>Super Deluxe Edition<\/em> av <em><strong>The Who<\/strong> Sell Out<\/em> f\u00e5r 5 stjerner, og dette er da 5xCD utgaven som ogs\u00e5 inneholder to 7-tommere, en 80-siders innbundet bok og en god del annet trykt snadder: &laquo;Contains virtually every worthwhile second the band put on tape from mid-1967 up until right before the <em>Tommy<\/em> sessions began. There are 112 tracks here, 47 of them previously unreleased.&raquo; (Utgivelsen f\u00e5r tommel opp i Ugly Things #57: &laquo;The 82-page bound-in LP-size mini-boko has plenty of cool photos and ad repros &#8230; it&#8217;s a pricey package, yes, but good value for money in the end.&raquo;)<\/li>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.vinylknut.com\/pix\/recog.gif\" width=\"14\" height=\"14\" border=\"0\" \/> 5 stjerner til <strong>C.O.B.<\/strong>: <em>Spirit Of Love<\/em> fra East Central One labelen, som da er f\u00f8rste offisielle nyutgivelse p\u00e5 vinyl av dette albumet fra 1971. COB st\u00e5r for Clive&#8217;s Original Band, og dette er bandet Clive Palmer startet etter <strong>The Incredible String Band<\/strong>: &laquo;Producer Ralph McTell&#8217;s sleeve notes offer recollections as to the chaotic nature of the recording &#8230; intentional or not, <em>Spirit Of Love<\/em> is something approaching a masterpiece.&raquo;<\/li>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.vinylknut.com\/pix\/recog.gif\" width=\"14\" height=\"14\" border=\"0\" \/> 5 stjerner til Now-Again sin nyutgivelse p\u00e5 vinyl av <strong>Mark Fry<\/strong> sin psych-folk klassiker <em>Dreaming With Alice<\/em> fra 1972. Den store nyheten her er at dette er en hel-analog pressing med utgangspunkt i nylig oppdagede mastertaper, og mastringen er gjort av Bernie Grundman, som burde borge for kvalitet: &laquo;The release reveals previously unheard nuances that make this a definite headphone experience.&raquo; Kommer b\u00e5de som en 2xLP utgivelse som ogs\u00e5 inkluderer 6 bonusspor, og som enkelt-LP, p\u00e5 labelen Now-Again Reserve, som indikerer en litt eksklusiv utgivelses-serie fra Now Again, med nummererte utgaver.<\/li>\n<li>Nok en 5-stjerner g\u00e5r til Esoteric sin 3xCD utgave av <em>It&#8217;ll All Work Out In Boomland<\/em>, opprinnelig utgitt av <strong>T2<\/strong> i 1970: &laquo;Something quite unique: a combination of congested, degenerate riffing &#8230; with a jazzy, restrained and regretful dignity.&raquo; (Omtales ogs\u00e5 veldig positivt i Ugly Things #57, av sjefen sj\u00f8l, Mike Stax: &laquo;I&#8217;ve read about this album over the years, and had it recommended to me by several friends whose tastes I trust, but for some reason it wasn&#8217;t until a couple of years ago that I finally gave it a proper listen. I immedieately regretted my earlier hesitancy: this is a fantastic album &#8230; If you&#8217;ve ever been on the fence with this one, the time to hesitate is through.&raquo;)<\/li>\n<li>Over til nye utgivelser, her f\u00e5r &laquo;baroque pop group&raquo; <strong>Electric Looking Glass<\/strong> fra California 5 stjerner for sitt debutalbum <em>Somewhere Flowers Grow<\/em>: &laquo;Despite hailing from LA, the band&#8217;s dandified stain of psych-pop owes more to Carnaby Street than it does to the Sunset Strip &#8230; will sitt nicely alongside your Dukes of Stratosphear and Green Seagull LPs.&raquo; Sammenligningen med Dukes er litt flatterende, Electric Looking Glass har litt for lite variasjon i b\u00e5de l\u00e5ter og arrangement til \u00e5 n\u00e5 helt opp dit, som for s\u00e5 vidt er en list lagt h\u00f8yt.<\/li>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.vinylknut.com\/pix\/recog.gif\" width=\"14\" height=\"14\" border=\"0\" \/> 5 stjerner til den utvidede og reviderte utgaven av boka <em><strong>Beefheart<\/strong>: Through The Eyes Of Magic<\/em> av John &#8216;Drumbo&#8217; French: &laquo;This writing project organically grew out of the booklet that accompanied the acclaimed 1999 <em>Grow Fins<\/em> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.vinylknut.com\/pix\/recog.gif\" width=\"14\" height=\"14\" border=\"0\" \/> box set.
