Her en kjapp gjennomgang:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Halvsides artikkel om <strong>Hilma Nikolaisen<\/strong> i forbindelse med hennes nye album <em>Heritage<\/em>, som fikk 4 stjerner og positiv omtale i forrige nummer. Ogs\u00e5 her er det mye skryt \u00e5 finne: &laquo;Hilma Nikolaisen&#8217;s new album waves themes of continuity and loss through a flute-dappled haze of psychedelic dream-folk &#8230; has a more stripped-back, acoustic feel than the upbeat dream-pop of its predecessors.&raquo;<\/li>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.vinylknut.com\/pix\/recog.gif\" width=\"14\" height=\"14\" border=\"0\" \/> Ny <strong>Jon Savage<\/strong> tidsepoke samler, 2xCD utgivelsen <em>Jon Savage&#8217;s 1972-1976: All Our Times Have Come<\/em> fra Ace Records f\u00e5r god omtale og 5 stjerner: &laquo;The collection succeeds by steering clear of distinctive genres such as prog and reggae, and eschews the golden age of the singer-songwriter &#8230; it was a hugely inventive and exiting period for popular music.&raquo; Som for tidligere Savage-samlere s\u00e5 har mange kanskje st\u00f8rre deler av innholdet fra f\u00f8r i samlingen, med kjente og kj\u00e6re artister som Little Feat, Mott The Hoople, Big Star, Free, The Byrds, Lou Reed, Roxy Music, New York Dolls, Sparks, John Cale, Hawkwind, Dr. Feelgood, Pere Ubu, og Blue \u00d6yster Cult. Det er nok i stor grad liner notes i det medf\u00f8lgende heftet som er kj\u00f8psargumentet her, hvor Savage beskriver og setter ting i sammenheng og inn i et historisk perspektiv. (4 stjerner for utgivelsen i Record Collector #518: &laquo;A fascinating musical story, brilliantly curated.&raquo;)<\/li>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.vinylknut.com\/pix\/recog.gif\" width=\"14\" height=\"14\" border=\"0\" \/> 4 stjerner til <strong>Ryley Walker<\/strong> sitt nye album <em>Course In Fable<\/em>, lett eksperimentell og sm\u00e5progga indie-folk-rock, laidback og sofistikert, behagelig men interessant lytting: &laquo;Whatever you want to call it, music like this is too inspirited and free to follow expectations &#8230; effortlessy elegant, each song filled with spacious nuances. It often conjures an imagery of unexpected beauty, sun-soaked sereneity in the wake of dusky days.&raquo; Et spennende nytt bekjentskap for min del, til tross for at Walker gjennom 10 \u00e5r har skapt en ganske stor katalog av utgivelser. Her kommer mer til \u00e5 m\u00e5tte sjekkes ut, men det vil forundre meg om ikke <em>Course In Fable<\/em> blir st\u00e5ende som en av hans beste i mine \u00f8rer.
