Musikalsk var Bill Nelson godt i gang her med \u00e5 ta i bruk synther og elektronika, noe som ble enda tydeligere p\u00e5 <strong>Bill Nelson&#8217;s Red Noise<\/strong> og albumet <em>Sound On Sound<\/em> som ble gitt ut \u00e5ret etter. Ogs\u00e5 verdt \u00e5 sjekke ut, selvf\u00f8lgelig.<\/li>\n<li>Grapefruit 3xCD samleren <strong><em>Oh! You Pretty Things: Glam Queens And Street Urchins 1970-1976<\/em><\/strong> f\u00e5r 5 stjerner: &laquo;A riotous celebration of a time whan any kid with a guitar, some green eyeshadow and a pout could be a star.&raquo; Med artister som Roxy Music, ELO, Sparks, Ian Hunter, Hawkwind, Slade, Thin Lizzy, Lou Reed, John Cale, Iggy &amp; The Stooges, Troggs, New York Dolls, Strawbs, Kim Fowley, Leo Sayer (Leo Sayer?!) og en dr\u00f8ss med andre kjente og langt mer ukjente navn. Artistutvalget kan synes noe bredt, men forh\u00e5pentligvis gj\u00f8r det 40-siders heftet en god jobb med \u00e5 knytte de utvalgte kuttene sammen. Og s\u00e5 finner vi enkelte tidligere uutgitte kutt her ogs\u00e5, visstnok ogs\u00e5 fra The Stooges.<\/li>\n<li>4 stjerner til <strong>Hilma Nikolaisen<\/strong> sitt album <em>Heritage<\/em>: &laquo;Nikolaisen&#8217;s voice has a warm, velvet quality perfectly suited to such gentle folksy songs &#8230; elsewhere she comes across as a Scandinavian Joni Mitchell.&raquo;<\/li>\n<li>4 stjerner til del 2 av <strong>Ian Hunter<\/strong> biografien <em>Rock&#8217;n&#8217;Roll Sweepstakes, <\/em>med undertittel Hunter By Proxy, del 1 var <em>Mott&#8217;s The Story<\/em>, og den dekket da perioden fram til <strong>Mott The Hoople<\/strong> var historie, dvs. 1974. Det gj\u00f8r kanskje del 1 enda mer interessant. Jeg stiftet f\u00f8rst bekjentskap med Hunter via en nattrock-sending p\u00e5 NRK i 1979, samme \u00e5r som det doble konsertalbumet <em>Welcome To The Club<\/em> ble spilt inn (side 4 var riktignok studioinnspillinger), en klassiker med Hunter og Mick Ronson i storform, og med et up\u00e5klagelig l\u00e5tutvalg. Senere jobbet jeg meg bakover til de foreg\u00e5ende Hunter-albumene og Mott The Hoople, mye bra. Hunter sine soloalbum etter <em>Welcome To The Club<\/em> n\u00e5dde aldri h\u00f8yder som for eksempel <em>You&#8217;re Never Alone With A Schizophrenic<\/em> fra 1979, men han har en sv\u00e6rt omfattende solokarriere ogs\u00e5 etter 1980, noe <em>Stranded In Reality<\/em> boksen fra 2016 ogs\u00e5 dokumenterer, med hele 30 CD-er!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nytt nummer av Shindig!, og som alltid ender jeg med en liten sjekkliste.
